Lance with Broken Wing
This is one of Michael’s cockatiels, Lance. We found her (yes, I know Lance is a boy’s name) in their cage with a broken wing. I’m not sure what happened…whether it was something that went on in the cage or when she was last put back.
I took her to the vet to have her wing wrapped. It needed to rewrapped each week so she could stretch her wing in between. The hope was that she’d be able to use it afterwards. Sadly, that’s not the case. She’ll never fly again. She’s still loved though and will have her home here for the rest of her life.
